Racing

HANDICAP FLEET
The club has a wide variety of racing dinghies with Wayfarers, Wanderers, Lasers, Enterprises, solo's and Fireballs all being welcome to race in a handicap fleet.
Racing takes place on Saturday mornings, throughout the year on the tidal River Crouch, with a large number of racing and navigation marks available to provide challenging courses at all states of tide and with all wind directions.
An annual highlights of the year is the "Phantom Open meeting" held for the class which attracts competitors from all over the country.

The Club members also take part in the Burnham Week Race in August of each year

For something different, why not try the IOS round the island Race, first weekend in September, a few from the club have done this.

Pursuit Racing
The club is aiming to provide handicap pursuit racing for all classes. This will be based around our "Autohoot System", and allows all sailor levels to participate in races. Start times are staggered depending on class.
